I have super villain shoes. They are purple and green. I am wearing my green Save Ginny Weasly t-shirt and purple dress shirt over that. My pants are blue which compliment the blue highlights on my shoes. I've been playing a lot of Slint on my guitar.

So i'm having a really nice semester so far, I have a shit load of work unlike last semester where I had none. I'm taking two law classes and enjoying them more than most other classes I've taken.
i haven't been playing bass or guitar because I've found a new musical outlet.
Live Mash-ups! basically I'm just trying to do what Girl Talk does...but with more david music.
Its addictively fun.
I'm eligable to write an a psych honors thesis...who would have thought with my grades, they should raise their standard.

My ASS played piano today while I played bass. It was kinda awesome
we got rid of our stylisticly nonfunctional keyboardist. Now we have to redo a bunch of arrangements for our songs. Thats fine.

i feel like i'm totally wasting my life. I'm putting all my energy into a not particularly good rock band that has absolutely no future and isn't particularly fun. I'm putting little energy into learning useful things, and some energy into learning music things which are comepletly useless in life. my classes next semester will be 4 music classes and one psych class. With only three semseters of a free ride left i am putting a whole lot of energy into something totally useless. I should be taking classes on like politics or law or something useful but whenever i do i can't focus. Argh i kinda want to quit music, the band, get rid of the 23,000 mp3s and start doing something useful.
what the fuck would that be

back at school. it was an excellent drive. we discussed sex for six hours, it was kinda like six hours of forplay. There are a bunch of new things in david land. new things refering to objects and possesions. So there is this 2500 watt pa in my room, as of yet i have not been able to turn it more than 1/16th of the way up without it being painfully loud. I have seven bottles of three buck chuck that my dad gave me. unfortunetly we don't drink much wine as is evidenced by the quarter jub of carlo rossi thats been in my room since the first week of school. I bought a new bass amp, it should be arriving on tuesday. Its the bass amp to end all bass amps...cause its like the most expensive one that exists...yay ebay...yay broke, i can't wait to destroy buildings. I need to buy a toy keyboard from the 80's for my circuit bending class but as of yet that hasn't worked out.

um so like in the last three days i've managed to spend about 2 grand on music gear...hopefully i'll be getting at least 1400 back from people. if not i basically won't have money to do anything the rest of the year. on the bright side of things in the mail is the bass amp i've always dreamed of. today i also picked up a pa for my band...its a shame that something that big won't be sitting in my dorm room but it'll be put to good use for the band. oh the band the band the band. why can't we have a better band name.

can't say i'm particularlyu thrilled for fall break next week. Dad won't be there for half of it which is sad, maybe i'll throw a drunken orgy for the three people i know who are still in the state. On the other hand I am excited for see Art Brut and TV on The Radio while I'm home. I'm also excited about going on a bunch of day trips.

my band played the best show ever. the people were jumping crazy into us....they made us do three encores...which we didn't have material for...by the end we kinda just improved a rendition of sexyback...it was funny as fuck. I'm exhausted, hopefully we will have more shows soon. hopefully we'll pick a name.
